Sidemorphic

The tab you keep going back to, beside the one you're reading.

Sidemorphic puts a panel down the side of Chrome and keeps it there. Pin the sites you check all day, keep a scratchpad, and drop the text you retype straight into whatever box you're in.

Somewhere to put things

A scratchpad that is always one click away

The half-thought, the address someone read out, the paragraph you are not sure about yet. It is there when you open the panel and it is still there tomorrow.

No files, no documents, no saving. You type, it stays.

Text you retype

Snippets that land where your cursor is

Your phone number, your address, the reply you send twice a week. Click one and it goes straight into the box you were typing in, at the cursor — not onto the clipboard for you to find later.

Right-click to edit. Click away and it saves. There is nothing to press.

Your bookmarks, doing the work

It follows you between machines, with no account

Everything you save is kept as ordinary bookmarks in one folder. If your browser syncs bookmarks — and Brave and Vivaldi do, even though they sync nothing else about extensions — then your panel follows you too.

Nothing is sent to us, because there is no us to send it to. No account, no server, no analytics.

Access to nothing

It starts with permission for no websites at all

Most extensions ask to read and change your data on every site you visit, on the day you install them. Sidemorphic asks for one site at a time, at the moment you first open it in the panel — and you can take it back whenever you like.

Light or dark, taken from your browser.

Small on purpose.

It does four things and gets out of the way. No feed, no assistant, no upsell, and nothing that phones home.
